Harajuku is the area around Tokyo's Harajuku Station between Shinjuku and Shibuya. It is one of the main fashion districts of Tokyo. It comprises of Takeshita Dori, Omotesando, Ura-Harajuku and Cat Street.

Takeshita Dori with its fashion shops and seconds stores is famous for teenage fashion. North of Takeshita Dori, is Omotesando, a zelkova tree-lined avenue and Tokyo's major luxury shopping district. It is also knows as Tokyo's Champs-Élysées. The famous Meiji Shrine is located at one end of Omotesando.

Just around the corner from Omotesando, is Ura-Harajuku, a network of backalleys comprising of boutique shops, candy stores and art galleries.

Running perpendicular on either side of Omotesando, is Cat Street, Tokyo's vibrant street fashion district.

Starting from Takeshita Dori, my friend and I walked through Omotesando and Ura-Harajuku and finished our evening at Cat Street
