Na Pali Coast is one of the most beautiful and pristine coastlines in the world. You have to see it to believe it! Na Pali in Hawaiin means many cliffs so the Na Pali Coast is a coast of many many cliffs. It is a 19 mile stretch of rugged coastline on the northwest shore of Kauai. Most of the Na Pali Coast is inaccessible and the only way to see it is by boat or a helicopter.
I took a doors-off helicopter tour with Jack Harter Helicopters to see the Na Pali Coast and the island of Kauai. The beauty of the Na Pali Coast surpasses all human imagination. Without doubt, it is one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen on earth! In this post I share some of my images of the Na Pali Coast that I took from the helicopter tour. I shot these pictures with a Nikon D810 camera and a 20mm Nikon prime lens. To avoid getting the helicopter wings in the pictures, set the camera to continuous mode and shoot continuously! Pictures have been taken on shutter priority with a speed of about 2000th of a second. I used a polarizing filter to avoid glares.
