I recently stayed at the Radisson Blu Plaza Delhi Airport Hotel while transiting through Delhi. The hotel is 5 kms away from the Indira Gandhi International Airport and it took me only ten minutes to get there with the hotel’s airport transfer service. As soon as I entered the hotel, I immediately felt at home, thanks to the warm reception from the hotel staff who is so eager and happy to serve. From the GM to the other hotel employees, I felt a cordial welcome, something which is not so much seen at five star hotels these days. This in turn reflected through the hotel’s wonderful vibrant and friendly energy. Through my world travels, I have stayed at all kinds of different hotels, luxury as well as budget, and I can honestly say that the hospitality and service offered at the Radisson Blu Delhi Plaza Hotel is one of the best! They really know how to treat their guests!
Coming back to my stay, on check-in I was treated to a complimentary room upgrade - the Deluxe Suite, a perfect room to unwind in after a long flight or a day in the city! If you are a Radisson Rewards Silver member, you can get complimentary room upgrades depending on availability.
Immediately after settling in my room, I went straight to the spa. The hotel has three levels of spa area with treatment rooms, private suites, a hydrotherapy lounge and a beauty salon. With Asian and European therapies, Vichy showers and hammam tables, I had a lot to choose from! I went for my regular deep tissue massage followed by sauna and steam baths and a delicious fruit salad that was served to me at the spa itself. I have to say that I am a spa kind of person and before choosing a hotel, I always first check on the spa facilities. R - The Spa at Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel Delhi was a wonderful experience. Again, I have to say that the experience was elevated thanks to the kindness of the wonderful staff.
I also got a chance to eat at the iconic Great Kabab Factory offering six different styles of vegetarian and meat kababs. Honestly, they served so much food that I thought the price of Rs. 1,750 (20-25USD) per person was really quite reasonable. The hotel is also famous for its Thai restaurant called Neung Roi, a must visit if you like Thai food!
All in all, I had a wonderful stay at the hotel and I know that I will keep going back there, thanks to the wonderful hospitality and service complemented by the lovely spa, great food and super comfortable rooms.
