Park Hyatt, Goa has a dining area called the Village Square that offers a selection of elegant restaurants serving a variety of cuisines. There is also a beach-side restaurant called Palms and if you really don't feel like getting out of the room, in-room dining also has a nice selection of dishes.
Before I go into further details about the eating places that I enjoyed in and around the hotel, you might also want to check out my post on My stay at the Park Hyatt, Goa, India, a luxury 5 star hotel, beach resort & spa.
1. Casa Sarita
Casa Sarita which is located in the Village Square offers traditional Goan cuisine. The restaurant interiors reflect the delicate blend of Indian and Portuguese culture in Goa. My favorite item on the menu was the Goan Fish Curry - silver pomfret cooked slowly with fresh coconut and dried red chilli gravy.
Masala is a chic Indian restaurant in the Village Square that offers street-side cuisine from the Northwest Frontier, Punjab and the neighbouring states of erstwhile Pakistan. With colorfully designed interiors in Indian ethnic style, an open kitchen fragrant with Indian spices and Indian instrumental music, the restaurant has a rich Indian ambience.
3. Da Luigi
Da Luigi is an Italian trattoria located in the heart of the Village Square and offers delicious authentic pizzas, homemade pastas and fresh salads.
4. Village Café
Village Café is a casual street-side café in the Village Square. It offers a grand breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner. A la carte menus are also available.
Palms is a beachside restaurant offering the best of Goan seafood. From the restaurant deck, one can enjoy spectacular views of the Arabian Sea and the Arossim Beach, one of the most picturesque and scenic beaches in Goa.
6. In Room Dining
If you prefer a quieter evening in the room, there is a huge selection of dishes on the in-room dining menu. They also have a Healthy Balance Menu for those who like healthy food and also a separate kid's menu. Room service is available 24 hours.
7. Neighborhood restaurants
There are also a number of restaurants in the neighborhood where you can enjoy authentic Goan cuisine. Zeebop is one such restaurant where I enjoyed a lunch of prawn curry and rice. Another nice place to eat is Fish'ka for seafood.
There are also other restaurants on the property that I did not have the time to explore such as:
- Praia de Luz, a pub, lounge and bar
- Poolside Bar
- Wine Room
- Cabana, deluxe beach shacks located on the beach
