Located at Vulkan in Oslo, Mathallen is a food court with specialty shops, cafés and restaurants serving a wide range of cuisines. The food market has everything from Norwegian foods, sausages and cured meats, Southeast Asian cuisines, Spanish food and wine, charcuteries and cheeses to cookery classes, wine courses and courses on food photography or filmmaking. If you are in Oslo, I would really recommend swinging by here for a late morning brunch or an evening dinner. Some of the restaurants have a view of the river Akerselva. You can also walk to Brenneriveien, an area rich in street and urban art.
